Meet the Doctor

Dr. Leonard G. Saulter, D.C., D.A.C.B.O.H.

Dr. Leonard Saulter has been providing chiropractic care in the Falmouth area for more than 25 years. His commitment to highly-personalized care, combined with his extensive education in the field, has earned him recognition and admiration from both his peers and his patients.

A lifelong resident of Maine, Dr. Saulter has been recognized as a leader in the chiropractic industry at both the state and national level. Dr. Saulter has received the Maine Chiropractic Associates Chiropractor of the Year award as well as numerous special recognition and leadership and President awards.He graduated from Colby College where he was captain of the football team. He received his doctorate degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic and was a member of the 1980 National Champions Rugby team. Dr. Saulter has served as President of the Maine Chiropractic Association and continues as a Board Advisor. He is active politically having authored and co-authored numerous legislative bills to enable patients to see a chiropractic doctor without a referral and that they receive a fair reimbursment from insurance companies.

Dr. Saulter provides individualized chiropractic treatment protocols for headaches, neck and back pain, plus acute, chronic health conditions and sport injuries. His patients, ranging in age from newborns to seniors, receive treatment for various spinal problems, musculoskeletal disorders, auto accidents, and sport and workplace injuries.

All patients receive a thorough examination and comprehensive explanation of their diagnosed condition.  Dr. Saulter provides specific rehabilitation exercises, nutritional programs and home healthcare tips to aid in sleeping, sitting and lifting, thereby helping patients recover more quickly and reach their optimum health.

Dr. Saulter and his wife, Pam, have been married for 27 years and raised their 2 children in Yarmouth Maine. Both he and his wife Pam are active volunteers in the Yarmouth community and for First Parish Church. He is a USSA certified ski racing coach and has assisted the middle and high school ski programs and continues coaching for Carrabasset Valley Ski Academy at Sugarloaf throughout the winter. When he isn't in the office, Dr. Saulter can be found enjoying the outdoors with friends and family, boating on Casco Bay, biking, fishing, hiking or skiing on the slopes of the western mountains.
